On December 19, 2018, the 6th CUFE Business School Enterprise Management AcademicWorking Paper Contest and its first Lecture were held successfully at Room 202of the Academic Hall. Professor Wang Ruihua, Dean of the Business School andDirector of the MBA Education Center of Central University of Finance andEconomics (CUFE), and Professor Lin Song, Vice Dean of the CUFE Business School,attended the event. Associate Professor Lin Lin and Assistant Professor ZhuXiji of the Department of the Organization and Human Resources Management, CUFEBusiness School, Wang Shihui, first-prize winner of the 3rd CUFE BusinessSchool Enterprise Management Academic Working Paper Contest, politicalinstructors, and student representatives from all degree levels — undergraduates,graduates and Ph.D. candidates — were present as well.
Beforethe Contest began, the video of previous sessions of the Contest was played andlast years’ award winners conveyed support to their successors. Then Professor WangRuihua delivered opening remarks.
ViceDean Lin Song gave an intensive introduction to this Contest to students.
AssociateProfessor Lin Lin introduced the academic rookie elite class to students.
AssistantProfessor Zhu Xiji gave a lecture titledPoetry and Future in Research.
WangShihui, first-prize winner of the 3rd CUFE Business School EnterpriseManagement Academic Working Paper Contest, shared her experience in academicpaper writing. She was one of the students of the 1st academic rookie eliteclass. Currently, she is a Ph.D. candidate specializing in strategic managementat the National School of Development of Peking University.
TheOpening Ceremony and first Lecture of the 6th CUFE Business School EnterpriseManagement Academic Working Paper Contest were thus successfully closed. Theresearch journey has just begun, and academic research is a lifetime pursuit.The CUFE Business School hopes that students can become outstanding talentswith global visions and a sense of responsibility and mission, and contributeunremitting efforts to academic research.
