22 September 2021, CUFE Business School invited Professor Li Jiahua to deliver “the First Lecture for Freshman” to first year students. The theme of the lecture was “Career Pilot, Finding Value”. The lecture was hosted by Professor Ge Jianxin, Secretary of Party Committee, CUFE Business School. Ms. Yang Zhongying, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, and all undergraduate tutors attended.
Professor Li Jiahua served as Director of the China Research Institute of KAB Entrepreneurship Education of the International Labor Organization,VP of the National College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance, VP of the University Student Management, Placement and Entrepreneurship Research Branch of the China Higher Education Society, and former VP of the China Youth Politics College. Professor Li Jiahua introduced the significance of career education to students from two facets, the responsibility consciousness of their career development and the pattern orientation of their career planning.
In Q&A session, Professor Li gave suggestions on students’ questions and encouraged them to think in multi-dimensional ways.
Professor Ge Jianxin encouraged the students to promote individual development with the whole society; recognize self-value from a broader perspective, and better explore their own lives. CUFE Business School combines the needs of students and the talent training goals, builds professional development system, and constantly improves the students’ sense of planning and innovation through various workshops.
The “First Lecture for Freshman” is a part of the CUFE Business School Introduction Education for Freshmen, aiming to help first year students in self-positioning, career planning, and continuous learning.
