May 24 2021, CUFE Business School held the 5thSession of the 2021 CUFE Business School Distinct Academic Forum. Dr. Zhang Yuxuan from the School of Information Management, UIBE, was invited to give the speech. Faculty members, postgraduate students and undergraduates from CUFE Business School were attended.Professor Nina Yan from the Department of Supply Chain and Operations Management hosted the forum.
Dr. Zhang served as Assistant Professor in School of Information Management, UIBE. Dr. Zhang received her Bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University. The main research areas are supply chain finance, fintech, and sustainable operation and management. Her working papers had been accepted or revised by international leading academic journals, such as Naval Research Logistics,Manufacturing & Service Operations Management. She had won honorary titles in Tsinghua University, Beijing Excellent Graduate and so on.
The topic of Dr. Zhang’s speech was Dynamic Trade Finance in the Presence of Information Frictions and FinTech, which regarded the application of dynamic trade financing (Dynamic Trade Finance) in global supply chain management and the important value of Fintech.
In the communication session, Dr. Zhang answered questions and discussed issues with faculty and students. The interaction had greatly promoted academic exchange.
