May 27, 2021, CUFE Business School held the 4th Session of the 2021 CUFE Business School Distinct Academic Forum. Dr.Wu Jing, Assistant Professor of the Department of Decision Science and Management Economics,CUHK Business School, was invited to give the speech. More than 20 faculty members, doctoral students and undergraduates were attended. Professor Nina Yan from the Department of Supply Chain and Operations Management hosted the forum.
Dr. Wu Jing served as Assistant Professor in Department of Decision Science and Management Economics at CUHK Business School and a research fellow at Hong Kong-Shenzhen Joint Financial Research Center. Dr. Wu received his Bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University and PhD from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. His research interests include operations and finance, global supply chain, fintech and business big data applications. Dr. Wu's research papers had been published in UTD journals such as Management Science, M&SOM, etc. And views were mainly published on MIT Sloan Management Review, The Economist, Forbes and other top journals.
The topic of Dr.Wu's speech was "Empirical Research Using Supply Chain Data A Tutorial and Literature Review".
During the communication session, Dr. Wu answered questions and discussed issues with faculty and students. The interaction had greatly promoted academic exchange.
