The Asia-Pacific Business Schools Desert Adventure (hereinafter referred to asYasha Adventure) is a top-class outdoor sports competition for business schoolsin the Asia-Pacific region. The first competition was held in Tengger Desert,Alxa of Inner Mongolia in 2012. By now, the competition has been successfullyheld seven times, involving more than 90 business schools and over 10,000 MBAstudents as direct participants, and covering over 500,000 MBA groups frombusiness schools in the Asia-Pacific region. Liu Jinquan, a representative ofthe Yasha Organizing Committee, said that the competition has gradually evolvedinto a “culture” and a “spirit.” The slogan of the competition — once a Yashaplayer, always a Yasha member — has become the shared label of every Yashaplayer. The 8th Yasha Adventure will be held during the May Day Holiday in2019, planning to invite over 100 top business schools from such countries andregions as Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Singapore, the UK,Australia, and North America while practicing such values as environmentalprotection, teamwork, persistence and responsibility.
TheAsia-Pacific Business Schools Xinjiang Adventure (hereinafter referred to asYaxin Adventure) is also known as the most beautiful competition of businessschools. The first competition, held in Xinjiang in June 2016, was attended bymore than 500 contestants from over 40 business schools across the Asia-Pacificregion. Set to uncover the culture of western China, the competition advocatesthe combination of natural harmony and sports competition. According to HeXuan, a representative of the Yaxin Organizing Committee, there are many innovativehighlights in this year’s Yaxin Adventure: contestants can choose their owntracks — set up in expansive prairies, seas of blossoming flowers, gobi anddeserts, alpine glaciers, vast forests, and steep gorges — to experience naturefrom different angles and appreciate the singular charm of Xinjiang.
