On October 30, 2018, the China MBA Summit and Award Ceremony wereheld by iCEO.COM andMeet Bossin Beijing, during which the list ofwinners for the 16th China’s Most Influential MBA Awards 2018 was released. TheBusiness School of Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) won theAnnual Best Performance MBA Awards 2018 fromWorld Entrepreneur.
The China’s Most Influential MBA Awards 2018 was launched tosecure a profound understanding of latest developments of internationallyrenowned MBA institutes and the clout of China’s MBA institutes amongprofessional managers, enterprises and students, and to provide effective andobjective information to such groups. In making the winner list, the organizersupheld the principle of prioritizing marketing and customers, employed a brandmarketing concept, namely the degree of customers’ satisfaction with“products/businesses,” as an important assessment criterion, and incorporated anumber of indicators into the assessment, such as school’s brand, socialinfluence, faculty, student satisfaction, enterprises’ satisfaction, studentquality, and teaching quality. In particular, considerable weight was given toenterprises’ satisfaction with MBA graduates and students’ satisfaction withMBA institutes during the assessment. After a comprehensive survey, the CUFEBusiness School distinguished itself from many institutes and won the “AnnualBest Performance MBA Awards 2018.” Other winners included Zhejiang University,Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Nanjing University, TongjiUniversity, Beijing Normal University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, XiamenUniversity, Fudan University, and Donghua University.
Meanwhile,World Entrepreneuralso released the list of theWorld’s 100 Most Influential MBA Institutes 2018, in which the top three wereStanford Graduate School of Business, Institut Européen d'Administration desAffaires, and Harvard Business School. The organizers have evaluated MBAeducation in China and across the world for 16 consecutive years. This year, atotal of 11 business schools from China made the list, one more than last year,among which eight were from the Chinese mainland and three from Hong Kong.Notably, among the top 10 business schools, seven were from the US, far morethan other countries, and the UK, France, and Spain each had one making thelist.
