17 December 2021, CUFE Business School held the 14th Session of the 2021 CUFE Business School Distinct Academic Forum.ProfessorLiu Weihua from Tianjin Universitywas invited to give the speech.Faculty members, postgraduate and undergraduate students from CUFE Business School were attended.ProfessorLiu Xiaohongfrom Department of Supply Chain and Operations Managementhosted the forum.
Professor Liu Weihua graduated from Antai School of Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and is currently serving as Professor in the Department of Operation and Supply Chain Management, Tianjin University. His main research areas include service supply chain management, service operation management, supply chain financial management and innovation, smart logistics and supply chain management, sustainable logistics.Professor Liu’s research papers were published on top journals at home and abroad, such as European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, International Journal of Production Economics, Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, International Journal of Production Research, Journal of Management Science.
The topic ofProfessor Liu’s presentation was“Exploring the development trends of supply chain management”. The presentation mainly focused on the generation and development process of supply chain management, introduced the current 5 trends of supply chain innovation in China, analyzed the basic situation of academic research in the field of supply chain management in recent years and the 6 development trends of future research.
In the communication session, Professor Liu answered questions and discussed issues with faculty and students. The interaction had greatly promoted academic exchange.
