10 July 2021, CUFE Business School held the Profession Pilot Plan and Appointed Mentors. Professor Jiang Feng, Vice Dean, Dr. Liu Xiaoyuan, Dr. Yao Xiao, and Dr. Li Jiapeng from Department of the Strategy, UG tutor Ms. Xu Jingting, Ms. Wang Huiting from the School office, 11 Mentors, 2ndyear and 1styear undergraduates attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Dr. Liu Xiaoyuan, Head of the Department of the Strategy.
Professor Jiang Feng delivered a speech on behalf of the School. He hoped that the Mentors would make positive contributions to the student professional development and talent training; the students would keep close contact with their mentors and make personal development plans combined with their own interests and mentor’s suggestions. Professor Jiang Feng expressed his appreciations to all Mentors and wished the pilot plan a great success.

In the interaction session, the 11 mentors introduced their work experience, career development, the latest developments in industries and corresponding requirements for talent recruitment. The mentors put forward suggestions to the students for learning and future development. Dr. Yao Xiao and Dr. Li Jiapeng shared their experience in RBS and Tsinghua University, respectively.
Dr. Liu Xiaoyuan put forward requirements for mentor’s responsibilities from professional development and talent training. He hoped that the students could broaden their horizons through the pilot plan, keep close touch with mentors, and continuously improve themselves.
Mentors answered questions regarding growth and career development orientation.
The meeting was supported by Professor Zhou Weizhong, Professor Pang Shoulin, and Professor Guo Jianluan from Department of Strategy. UG tutor Ms. Wang Tingting, and Ms. Sun Xiang from the School office also offered their supports.
