May 19, 2015, a delegation of 35 teachers and students from Schoolof Business, Howard University in the United States visited CUFE Business School. The Secretary of Party General Branch Professor GeJianxin, the director of University International Cooperation Office Ms. Zhang Xiaoyan, the Deputy Secretary of Party General Branch Professor Lin Song and vice director of MBA Education Center Professor JiaXiaojing received the guests.
Secretary GeJianxin introduced the situation and international communication of Business School and MBA Education Projects, and reviewed the history of two schools’cooperation and communicationespecially. Dean of Business School, Howard University, Professor Harvey, on behalf of all visiting teachers and students, appreciated the warm welcome of CUFE and expected innovation of cooperation pattern and communication ways by two sides’ efforts. Students from Business School, Howard University have forged a profound friendshipwith undergraduates and MBA students from Business School, CUFE. They said this is a precious opportunity for them to learn Chinese traditional culture and experience foreign customs.
Business School, CUFE andBusiness School, Howard University built a strategic cooperative partnership and signed memorandum of cooperation in 2013. After more friendly consultations, the two sides signed an agreement of undergraduate exchange. Business School, CUFE has selected three excellent undergraduates who will study in Howard University in 2015 Fall Semester. Business School, Howard University is actively recruiting undergraduates to study in Business School, CUFE in 2016 Spring Semester.
This visit is a new step in broadening cooperative fieldsfor the two sides; they mainly discussed cooperation content and implementation details of trilateral international MBA project, which is helpful in promoting twin-city relations of Washington and Beijing and friendly cooperationrelations of Business School, Howard University and Business School, CUFE.
