In the morning of May 13 2014, MBA Education Centre & PETDOG Donation and Cooperation Ceremony were held in Room A12, MBA Education Centre, and CUFE. The dean of Business School and director of MBA Education Centre Professor Wang Ruihua, the Secretary-general of Education Foundation Professor An Xiumei, the deputy director of MBA Education Centre Professor Jia Xiaojing, together with Chairman of PETDOG Li Zhongwei, Executive General Manager Hou Gaoliang, Creative Director Cheng Bin, the president of PETDOG training school Tian Chao, the director of General Management Department Song Xiaohua and CEO Assistant Ma Lin were present. The ceremony was hosted by Kong Weiming from the MBA Education centre, CUFE.

   In the ceremony, Professor An Xiumei first extended a warm welcome to all the guests on behalf of Central University of Finance and Economics. Then she introduced the history and present situation of Education Foundation, CUFE and related public welfare work, highly praised PETDOG for its donation and appreciated its attention to CUFE and support on education business. Professor An remarked that Education Foundation would preserve and use the donation strictly according to donators’ intention to serve for students and the university.

   Professor Wang Ruihua, on behalf of Business School and MBA Education Centre, expressed appreciation to PETDOG. By taking some famous universities which were built on donation in Europe and America for instance, he emphasized the significance of donation in education business. He thought the development of universities mainly relied on themselves, but the support from society is indispensible. Professor Wang remarked that the PETDOG donation is the first non-alumnus donation project to MBA Education Centre, and he hoped it would be followed by more donations. Then he spoke highly of the business model of PETDOG and wished its successful management model and experience can be summarized into a classic case and promoted widely. At last, he underlined the advantage of CUFE in finance and economics and hoped there would be more cooperation between the university and companies in subject research, personnel training and some other related fields, so as to push the development of enterprises.

   Mr. Li Zhongwei, Chairman of the PETDOG Business Management Limited Liability Company, expressed thanks for the platform provided by CUFE, and remarked that PETDOG which was engaged in business of fashion and full of humanistic concern, had worked at welfare for a long term and this was its first donation to education business. Then he briefly introduced the general situation, operation principle and management model of PETDOG and invited teachers and students from CUFE to visit.

   Then came the signing and donation ceremony. Professor An Xiumei, Professor Wang Ruihua and Chairman Li Zhongwei signed the donation and cooperation agreement, on behalf of Education Foundation, MBA Education Centre and PETDOG respectively. After it, Mr. Li donated 100 thousand to MBA Education Centre and the university issued the donation certificate to him.
