July 1st, 2014, Australian Financial Bank Expert Consultant Mr. Geoff Marriott visited Business school and gave a wonderful lecture titled “Risk Control and Case Study of Non-Performing Loans” for students from the Business School. The Dean of Business School Professor Wang Ruihua and Secretary of General Branch Professor Ge Jianxin hosted the guests.

   Mr. Geoff Marriott, Chairman of Riskpillar Consulting Pty Ltd, worked as ANZ Bank’s Chief Risk Control Commissioner, Capital Market Risk Director, Capital Operation Director; in charge of senior manager financial risk control and laws, financial market strategic planning. As a senior expert of Australian financial risk control and consultation, Mr. Geoff Marriott was invited to give lectures and trainings in many commercial banks and assets management companies at home and abroad.

Geoff Marriott gave a professional lecture from perspectives of theory and practice, on such subjects as business strategy planning, financial data analysis, financial product and Product Portfolio Management and financial risk insight and management. After the lecture, Geoff Marriott exchanged ideas with students and answered their questions, and he also spoke highly of MBA students of our school. The lecture was concluded in a relaxed and cheerfully atmosphere.
